Sid recently lost his owners, an elderly couple who passed away. Sid and his brother were his owners beloved companions, and the loss of their owners has been very hard on them. Their son had hoped to be able to keep Sid, and his brother Diego, but his wife has developed severe cat allergies that make life with a cat very difficult.
Living in Murrieta, CA, Sid is 13 years old, and weighs a magnificent 17 pounds. He is fixed, up to date on shots, and healthy. Laid back and affectionate, Sid is almost human in the way he communicates his needs. He loves human companionship and enjoy sitting beside you or on your lap being brushed and petted. He is OK with respectful children and calm dogs, as well.
Fred and his wife are dearly hoping to find Sid a loving home where he will be cherished and kept safe, happy and healthy for the rest of his life. He is such a nice companion – he will add many years of love, joy, laughter and companionship to his new owner’s life. Sids Current Home Environment
We recently acquired these two sweet boys when my parents passed away. They have been indoor cats their entire lives and are declawed.
Sids Current Family:
My parents adopted these two brothers at 8 weeks (born April 28, 2006) and they were great companions in their elderly years. They haven’t been around young kids, but would probably do ok if children weren’t too overly aggressive.
Sid’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
They like strings and red laser lights. They eat dry cat food (do not like wet food) and love cat treats. Enjoys just hanging out with the family, especially at night (likes to be cuddled). Does not play too much is pretty mellow. They loves to be brushed.
Cute Sid Story:
These two cats have been great companions for my parents and they were well taken care off. They gave my parents a lot of joy in their elderly years.
Why is Sid Being Rehomed?
My parents recently passed and we cannot keep them. My wife is allergic and although she has tried allergy medicine, it is not working.
