I have been on disability since I got Cheerio. Unfortunately I have to go back to work but at a job that will require travel. My husband also travels for work & is gone a lot.

The BEST personality ever! He will make you laugh daily. He loves anyone & everything. He is very socialized & is excitable! He is a cuddle bug when needs to but also has a ton of energy.

Cheerio has one of the best personalities I’ve seen for a dog! He will make you laugh everyday.
One thing that always makes me laugh is giving him treats. Especially if it’s a new treat. He will take it from you, place it on the ground & start jumping back & forth (I call it his pow-wow dance ).
Why is Cheerio Being Rehomed?
It’s heartbreaking & unfortunate I have to rehome Cheerio.

Cheerio’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Cheerio would do very well with another dog (it may help his anxiety a lot ) and/or kids. He us very social.
He has a ton of energy so it’s important he be walked, played with, etc. A yard is a MUST!
Cheerio does not like to be alone. He needs someone who can be with him most of the time if not all the time! Someone working full time in the office & leaving him at home, will NOT work. This is why I’m looking to rehoming him. I think any type of boarding would be hard on him. Although he is kennel trained, it’s not the place for him.
He will go into it when directed but I only put him in it when need to. Sometimes he will go into himself to chill. So if you want him in a kennel all the time then this dog is NOT for you!
Cheerio has been spoiled by us. We do allow him up on our furniture & bed (currently sleeps in my room but likes under the bed). So if your not ok with that, then he probably is not the right dog for you!
I currently feed Cheerio a raw diet (premade Carnivora with added supplements). I would prefer someone who continues this but it’s not a must. He just does very well on raw & what he’s used to.
Lastly, Cheerio needs lots of love & affection & in return he will provide the same to you. Although he has a ton of energy, he can be calm when needs to & will lay down with you!
