Just 3 years old and weighing 12 lbs, Panda is a delightful little dog looking for his forever home, anywhere within a reasonable distance of Brooklyn NY. Panda is a healthy dog. He has been fixed and fully vaccinated. He is well on his way to being fully potty trained, and can walk on a leash. Panda is timid around other dogs. He is best suited for a home without small children or other most other dogs, although he would probably adjust to life with another small, submissive dog. He would be fine with very dog-friendly cats, as well.

Panda’s owner rescued him from a situation of abuse and neglect. He had hoped to be Panda’s forever human, but working 50 hour weeks leaves little time to spend with Panda. He really needs a home with someone retired or who works from home. He would be the perfect companion for a senior, providing they don’t have frequent visits from small children. They are hoping to find a new home for Panda where he will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life.

Panda’s Personality
He needs soft dog food because of his bite, his breed. He is playful. He is alone a lot. He has not been around other animals. He has gone to my parents in Tennessee several times by plane and is a great flyer. They have 2 small dogs and he has never shown any sign of aggression and will pretty much go about his day and mostly ignores them.
He is trained on a pee pad and will also go to the bathroom outside on sidewalk. Does not care for grass.
Why is Panda Being Rehomed?
I took Panda out of a horrible situation a couple of years ago. He has been an incredible companion to me. I have a new job that requires me to work 50 + hours a week and I am not able to give Panda the life he deserves and I believe he can be wonderful to someone that has the ability to care for him. I am very sad that this has come to be but I do not have any family to help me with him.
Panda is a great dog. Like I mentioned it is with a heavy heart that this has to be addressed.
