Meet Church, a very handsome mix of Yellow Lab and American Pit Bull Terrier. Church is looking for a loving new home in or near Calgary, AB.

Church is just 1 year old. He is Spayed, Neutered, Microchipped, Fully vaccinated. Church gets along well with Toddlers, Small Children, Older Children, Adults and other Dogs.

Church’s owner describes him as being fun, loving happy. Good with dogs, kids, all people. He is very quick to learn. Knows sit, sit/stay, leave it, lay down and has started whistle training. He loves walks on leash and walks well, he also is a good runner on lead and loves hikes.

I would absolutely feel that Church needs an active family with another dog to play with, one that runs or hikes or has lots of opportunity for him to enjoy the outdoors. He is fully house trained and sleeps well through the night on his dog bed.

Church is being rehomed through no fault of his own. A senior dog in the home is blind, and has begun acting aggressively towards Church. His owners do not want either dog to be hurt, and feel that rehoming Church is the easiest solution. Adopt Church today.

Why is Church Being Rehomed?

We adopted Church and LOVE him so much. Initially dynamics in our home were all good…but now our older BLIND dog is reacting towards him whenever he gets in her space, plays or moves quickly. We have worked on keeping them from getting in each others space and tried Adaptil and other relax treats to see if Charlie will adapt but she is not making big strides with CHURCH. We are feeling like she will not adapt and that it is unfair to Church
