Chef’s Personality

Chef is a big cuddle bug, and he will tell you if he’s not getting enough attention. He can be vocal but not to the point of being a nuisance. He does shed and of course if there is anything on the bed or couch he has to lay on it whether it’s a remote or a pen or a pile of fresh clean clothes you can guarantee he’s gonna lay on it.

He loves boxes and bags/luggage doesn’t matter what size they are if he sees it he goes right over and has to squeeze himself in there lol. He is not afraid of water either I have even found him in my daughter’s bath when I didn’t take the plug out right away. He doesn’t really like loud noises but nobody really does.

He does scratch the bed or couch that he’s about to jump onto unfortunately. He loves to go outside but needs to be supervised as he is an indoor cat but he loves to eat the grass and lay in the sun. He got beat up by another cat once when I left him out unsupervised so I haven’t again since then and he doesn’t have experience around cars either.

He is good with other animals that he hasn’t met before usually doesn’t even growl. He really is just the definition of a cat. So friendly and cuddly but rude enough to catch him sitting on the kitchen table or clean laundry. He is litter trained and has never had any accidents but can be a bit messy with the litter.

He loves to sleep and has a bad habit of eating/chewing string. Anything that has string hanging off of it you will find him chewing on it. He’s really an amazing cat. He is nurtured and has all his shots

Chef would do best in a house with another friendly cat if possible or with someone who has nothing but time for him. He can get lonely and he doesn’t do very good in the car he will throw up without fail especially if he is in a cat carrier.

Why is Chef Being Rehomed?

My husband and I started our cat family in 2014 and over the years grew into a 3 cat kind of family. My husband passed away in 2016 and I have already rehomed one of our cats the oldest due to the time and attention he needed that I didn’t have.

I am finding it hard to find the time that chef deserves and finances are getting tight going down from a two income family to a one income family. Chef is such an amazing cat with a super awesome personality and he deserves attention and patience.
