He is extremely friendly. He wants to say hi to everybody at the park and he wants people to pet him and play with him. He loves strangers. He likes fetch and exercising. He is also in love with the snow.
Rio’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog. They are hoping to find a new home for Rio where this special Golden Retriever will be cherished, very well cared-for, and kept safe, happy, and healthy for the many remaining years of his life.

Why is Rio Being Rehomed?
My mom bought him for my sister when she was 16. It was two years ago, but then my sister moved to Toronto to study and she didn’t take him with her so she left him with my mom who moved back to her home country Colombia on December, and couldn’t take him with her either.
I told my mom before getting him, that a dog is a responsibility and that she shouldn’t have bought him for my sister, and I also told her dogs need to be active and exercise.
Unfortunately, I am a very busy person and I am always moving and traveling because of my job and I can’t take care of him. Also, I am struggling financially at this moment and I’m trying to save money to pay off my student loans. I really like him but I can’t take care of him and I feel extremely sad for him. He is such a wonderful boy.
