Louie is an adorable Miniature Schnauzer in need of foster care while his owner’s home is being built in Calgary in the coming months. This 3 year old dog is healthy, neutered, up to date on shots and house broken. Louie is good with most other dogs, cats and respectful children. He’s a wonderful little fellow and a joy to spend time with.
Louie’s owner, Tom, is in a tough predicament. He is having a home built, but in the meantime is unable to keep Louie with him while renting, due to landlord restrictions. He is looking for a dog lover who will cherish Louie and keep him safe, happy and healthy until they can be reunited.

Ton is offering a $150 monthly foster care gratuity, and will cover all costs for food, treats, toys and any vet care that Louie may need while in care.
Louie would appreciate a home with a securely fenced yard to play in, and dog lovers who have time to give him the care, attention, playtime and exercise he needs and deserves.

Louie is very affectionate but also very wary of strangers, especially those that visit our house. It may take a day or two for him to warm up to his foster family but he will.

He like to chase a rope…that is his favourite toy, biting, chasing and running with a rope.
Why Does Louie Need Foster Care?
Relocating from Vietnam to Calgary, condo board won’t allow pets so need to foster him until I buy a house which I’m hoping will take less than 6 months.
Foster Home Requirements
I just want someone who can be with him, Louie wants to be near people. He doesn’t necessarily need a lot of attention (though he will take it) but wants to be with people.
Supplies and Accessories Included:
Whatever is required. Probably a crate, he likes to sleep at night in a crate, some toys, leash. Happy to discuss further.
