Tiki is the quintessential LOVE dog! She likes to attach herself to her favorite human like a barnacle – a real Velcro dog. She is the perfect companion for a senior dog lover looking for a very devoted and affectionate small breed dog.
Tiki’s owners are very sad to have to rehome their cherished dog. They are hoping to find a new home for Tiki where she will be cherished and kept safe, happy, and healthy for life.

Tiki gets a Cytopoint shot every 3 months for grass allergies. She has some separation anxiety but does not bark or destroy things. She is just a major Velcro dog. Not a fan of car rides either.

She is well trained but can’t control her jumping or licking. She has been through several levels of obedience training and loves to practice.

Purina ProPlan sensitive skin and stomach. (To help her skin with the grass allergy)
1/4 cup 2 x a day. No free feeding. We try to give non- wheat based treats, blueberries, peanut butter. No table scraps. Since being on the Cytopoint she has very little allergy issues.

Tiki’s Personality
She is a huge people person. Loves sitting next to, or on you. Totally velcro. Energetic but gets it out quickly , (not hyper). She would need to be an only, as all her 4 years she’s been just with me and us wary of other dogs (covid didn’t help socialize her either) She loves to do tricks, likes walks, running in the yard, doesn’t chew or destroy. She is very clingy… But also sweet
Why is Tiki Being Rehomed?
I need a knee replacement. As a widow, I don’t really have anyone local to help me as I recover. My daughter and her hubby have been asking me to come live with them. Now is the time. They have large dogs that are not good with Tiki, and with one, possibly two surgeries in my future, I cannot give her the care she deserves. This has been a very hard, tearful decision.
I am moving the end of April. I want to be sure she placed is with the right home. I don’t want her passed around- this is hard.
