Kali is a Female Blue Nosed American Pit Bull Terrier for adoption to a very loving home in or near Calgary, AB. This very special female Pitbull is 5 years old and weighs 75 pounds. Kali is in good health, up to date on shots, spayed, house broken and well behaved.
Kali is a really sweet girl. She is so devoted and absolutely adores her people. Kali is good with older kids. She might inadvertently knock over a small child with her “happy dance”, but sturdy, older children will find her to be a wonderful friend and playmate. Kali, like many large breed dogs is not a fan of other dogs or cats. She needs to be in a home where she is the only pet. She also needs a large, securely fenced back yard, preferably a boarded fence rather than wire.
Kali is looking for a new home because her owner is working long hours and not able to give Kali the attention, exercise and time that she deserves. He is hoping to find a family who will cherish Kali and give her the life she deserves. She would be perfect on an acreage, but as long as a large home with a big, secure fence is offered, she will do well.

Kali’s Current Home Environment
Currently I live alone with my dog Kali. I am home very often as I am self employed and can create my own schedule.
Kali’s Current Family:
I have a fiancé and a 6 year old son that live separate and apart from me because she has 2 young dogs and we CANNOT integrate Kali with them. We have tried for almost 20 months to professionally train, rehome, or integrate her with no sign of anything changing as far as Kali’s aggressive behaviour towards other dogs/cats.
Kali’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Kali loves kongs, balls, running, swimming, playing with sticks. She is a very active dog who adores lots of exercise.
Kali is extremely resilient and can eat anything without any stomach or upset problems. She is very healthy and strong.
Cute Kali Story:
Kali gets crazy sometimes with energy and runs around and smooshes her face in her bed. She also rolls around and grunts and even attempts to get your attention with trying to speak.
Kali will go into the bedroom move the door stop then yelp and cry when the door closes her in the room to play have fun and get attention…it is really adorable. She has a very good fun nature in that way.
Why is Kali Being Rehomed?
Kali cannot be around any other animals at all.
Kali’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
It would be good if she was placed on a larger home lot with older children +10 and no other pets. Or in the alternate placed with a family with no other pets that is active and likes to be outdoors for hiking or walking.
Additional Comments:
My dream for Kali is to be happy and exercised in a fun single pet home. I have been through every avenue possible to try to rehome her as I do love her dearly and sincerely do not want her ending up in the wrong abusive life.
