Meet Frankie, Cane Corso Dog For Adoption in Calgary Alberta

Frankie is a female Cane Corso Bulldog Dog for adoption to a very loving home in or near Calgary, Alberta. This very special Dog is 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds. Frankie is healthy (aside from seasonal allergies) fixed, up to date on shots, micro-chipped and house trained. She is a very loving and devoted dog with so much love and companionship to offer a family with respectful older children and a large, securely fenced back yard. (An acreage would be ideal)

Frankie needs a home without other pets or small children. She is good with people of all ages, but recently nipped the baby in her home as he was crawling near her. This was due to anxiety on her part, and should not have happened, nor will it happen again. It was a case of both being in the wrong spot at the wrong time.

Frankie cane corso mix dog adoption calgary 3Frankie’s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?

All food, she loves walks, loves sleeping on the bed (preferably under the covers, between your legs), loves to play fetch and will do it for hours! She loves to chase Tucker when he tries to play fetch. She is not a swimmer – but will go up to her belly trying to catch Tucker and take the stick away from him.

Why is Frankie Being Rehomed?

Frankie nipped our baby.  She has never bit a human before but as our baby started to crawl towards her she did not like that and one night she nipped him on his head. For the safety of our baby, we want to find them a home where they are the centre of attention (no small kids/other animals).

Frankie’s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:

We would like them to be as loving to our dogs as we were before our baby came. They were our world before our little man came into it. They are very affectionate dogs and I believe they would need that in a new home. A home where they get treats, walks, lots of play time, snuggles, etc. We did spoil them with allowing them on our bed at night, but that was our zen with them – our safe and happy place. It is also important for the new owners to continue to utilize our (paid) trainer to maintain consistency and help them acclimate to their new pack.

Additional Comments:

We have paid for a Dog trainer for the lifetime of our dogs and it transfers to the new owners with no charge. We would want the new owners to utilize our trainer for the dogs to maintain consistency.
